Denso Update 4.40
Hi there, can people start documenting on here the DVD Writer Drives they are using along with the type of MEDIA used to write the Ford Denso DVD Navigation Discs PLEASE!It would also be a good idea to document which method was used to copy these Discs using DVD Decrypter or ImgBurn at 1x and change to BOOKTYPE-DVD ROM etc etc.I have the knowledge to do this but i would like to hear some success stories from people out there that have made Backup discs of the UPDATE 4.40 and the Europe 2010. I have the ORIGINAL 2005/2006 in my Mondeo but i wish to update like everyone else with a little help from you guys.Has ANYONE out there actually made a BACKUP of an ORIGINAL disc as Decrypter doesnt report any encryption used!! In the meantime i have successfully downloaded the Newer version of this 2009/2010 from rapidshare along with the update version 4.40. I have tried to copy it onto CD rewritables such as Infiniti and normal CD-R at 1x speed but the message keeps popping up on the screen.This is not a MAP DVD etc. I have also tried a VERBATIM DVD-RW and a TEVION DVD+R RW and a RiDisc DVD-RW at 1x speed but still no joy. My system needs to be updated as its running a 2005/2006 ORIGINAL disc. I am using Windows 7 Premium and ImgBurn to burn the discs on mt TSSTcorp CDDVDW SH - S202J ATA (Samsung) burner.

Playstation Update 4.40
I have now successfully downloaded the Europe 2010 MAP DVD iso which has the MDS file in it. I know the procedure for burning using ImgBurn ie CHANGE BOOKTYPE and DVD ROM settings etc etc. I will be trying to buy some VERBATIM DVD+R DL or PHILIPS to copy the file across onto.
Graphics driver windows 98 virtualbox. I have updated the firmware on my SAMSUNG drive from SB02 to SB03 and burnt the JAGUAR 2008/2009 iso onto a RICOH Dual Layer for a practice run. No problems burning it but my DVD in the boot didnt read it.This Disc had the deep purple coloured dye on it.
It came up on the HEAD unit. The disc inserted is not a MAP DVD.I need to upgrade the firmware with the 4.40 update which i have but no matter what kind of CD-R or CD-RW i try it still comes up with the same message on the Head unit screen!I looked on fleabay tonight for to price the Verbatim DVD+R DL £7.90 pack of 10. The next question is.which one is better.the MATT SILVER or the deep PURPLE ones. They advertise the silver ones are good for XBOX 360 and so i would imagine they are the better ones for NAVIGATION DVD backups! Has anyone got any input to add to my dilemma! Thx mentorman:susel:.

However you don't need new firmware to run the latest disc. It does not cover Poland. The one you need is the one for WESTERN AND EASTERN EUROPE and is a twin DVD set and costs approx ﾃつ｣50 more than the other one. I have found something on eBay however they are asking for ﾃつ｣150. Never having owned a Disco before and always relied on TomTom, I don't know if this is a fair price or not.

TomTom is the dogs danglies, the LR SatNav is just. I'm not btw - I have an HSE with the LR SatNav system and I wish I'd kept my TomTom Now an ex-D3 owner after 7 happy years.
